MY PLAN FOR HSE

As long as the school is a daycare center for kids nothing will change.  

If Police respond to the home of a student involving a gun or any weapon the Police should and will notify the school immediately of the interaction.  The child will immediately be removed from the bus and the parents be required to drop off the child and pick him up. Upon arrival to the school the student will be meet by Law Enforcement where an officer and an administrator will take the child into a private room where he, his belonging are searched. His locker will also be searched.  

2 Officers in a building of 500-800 students is not an answer. I will propose we follow in the footsteps of Carmel/Clay Schools. As allowed by Indiana State Law we develop a HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN SCHOOLS POLICE DEPT. to protect our children. A Department dedicated to the protection of our children. 

Hamilton Southeastern will start gun and weapons safety class for those troubled students. If Law Enforcement sends the school notification of a police run to a students house the student will be required go through a gun safety class. The class will be done by Law Enforcement (Hopefully State Police) but the class will not be not be free. The students will pay for the class. The class will be held during the school day. In addition HSE will require the parents to sit through the class with the there child.
